If you have not gotten all the gifts on your list for this holiday season, time is definitely running out.  I am here to offer up some help though if you are looking for gifts to give the book lover in your life.  There are a lot of gifts to choose from, and the more options you have, the easier it will be to get that last minute shopping done.  So here are some sweet gift ideas!

• An e-reader is a great gift to anyone who loves reading and typically lugs around a few books at all times.  Now, books can be easy to carry around and read.  I recommend the Kindle, but hey, to each his own.  I’ve heard some great things from Nook lovers too.
• Some of the year’s best books would make a great gift as well.  Van Gogh by Steven Naifeh, Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson, and Catherine the Great by Robert K. Massie are all some of the best books from 2011.
• Another idea for those in your life who love books is to get them accessories.  Book lights are great for the traditional book readers and those with e-readers that are not back-lit.  Lap desks are another unique gift idea that will be useful for more than just reading.  Bookshelves, book ends, journals, and bags are also other gifts that book lovers will love receiving.

If all else fails gift cards are always an option.  Amazon gift cards or Barnes & Noble and other bookstores will be appreciated for sure.  Each year I get everyone in my family an Amazon gift card so that they can buy the books that they really want.  i know that I definitely love receiving Amazon gift cards, so why wouldn’t they?
